I have worked in a variety of social media roles for Major League Baseball since 2013, starting as a social media coordinator posting directly to MLB and team accounts. Now in my 9th year at the league, I focus on overarching strategy, innovation, and platform partnerships for our social media department.
With the nature of MLB seasons and social media, my role has evolved in dozens of ways, giving me a wide variety of beneficial experience during my tenure at MLB.
Before starting at the league, I was a Media Relations intern for my hometown Cincinnati Reds, getting my start in the baseball industry. I also was a social media correspondent for MLB, providing videos and photos for their social media platforms, which gave me my start with the central office.
I'm a 2011 graduate of Ohio University's E.W. Scripps School of Journalism, where I focused on sports writing. I was a sports editor for our daily newspaper, The Post, and had dreams of becoming a professional sports writer. Although I didn't get that exact dream, I have been more than blessed with my career in sports so far.
Growing up in Cincinnati, I'm a fan of all things from my hometown and attempt to represent my hometown in any way possible while living in New Jersey. On top of being an avid sports fan, I enjoy reading, traveling, and gaming, and try to incorporate all of my interests wherever it makes sense in my professional career.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and please feel free to check out my other pages to get a better sense of me and my professional experience.
